Potholder Pass

May 1, 2010

I’m not sure how I found Amy’s blog… I think I was searching for pintucks and somehow ended up there.  Anyway, after reading and reading her posts, I got all inspired and decided to join her potholder pass swap thingie.

She emailed out the assignments today, and I just spent the last 20 minutes looking at my assignment’s blog and flickr stream.  Um, I’m soooo unworthy!

    I just read this…you are not unworthy! There are ladies of all abilities, tastes, styles, etc. The common thread is that they are all super sweet. You will be just fine. I love your blocks. If you are still unhappy with the binding, check the tutorials on the Flickr page.

::The Name::

Five Baht Elephant. My mother is from Thailand, where elephants are royal animals. Growing up Mom would tell us to save our pennies, "in case a man came to our door selling elephants." At the time we thought it was the most absurd thing ever. Now I realize it was the Thai version of saving for a rainy day. Lets hope that we can buy an elephant for only five baht!
