No one wants to be a quitter, right?
However, when it comes to knitting, I’m accountable to no one other than me. 19 rows into the 34-row edge portion of my Green Monster, I find a mistake. One of my purl stitches is off by one. I must have made the mistake two rows ago. I could tink back to fix it. I could drop the stitches, fix and resume knitting.
I could also just quit this project. Or in other words, “set it aside” or as Ravelry categorizes “hibernate” my project.
I’ve had this pink-orange-purple variegated merino loveliness for five days.
That’s five days I’ve been reading the pattern, looking at other knitter’s project pages for insight into this lacy cardigan. Pretty much obsessing over knitting this, telling myself to wait until the green monster is off the needles.
So, last night, I took the green monster off the needles and began work on my Little Liesl.
