Love love love this skirt.
A 3+ hour class with my favorite sewing friends! We had been looking forward to an afternoon of sewing, chit chatting and yummy lunch afterwards.
As luck would have it, the class only had 4 students. Me + 3 friends = 4 chatty students. God Bless our instructor Sadie for putting up with us.
We also had joked that 2 lawyers and 2 engineers tend to be a little type A. Slight overachievers. Perfectionist tendencies. Probably not the easiest students in a sewing class. Again, God Bless Sadie!
- “Ah! My rectangles aren’t straight!”
- “Ah! My seams are wonky!”
- “Ah! Why is my machine bungling my thread!”
- “Ah! How did my bobbin run out without me realizing it!
I also kept exclaiming, “Am I really that short?!?!” every time I looked at my skirt pieces. For the record, I am 5’3″. But I feel much much taller.
And here I am, modeling in our backyard.
