What’s your therapy? Me? I typically chose any of the following: red wine, vodka martinis, running… I like to think I handle stress well, but this past week has really shown me that I don’t. *sigh* it’ll pass; I just need to relax, prioritize and manage my time better. And not take work issues so personally. Oh, and exercise. Sheesh. I always always always feel better after running. (The lazy-ies got me. And the cold. But mostly the lazy-ies.) Must. Run. Tomorrow.
Anyway! On to other things….
Know what makes me happy? Pretty fabric. All stacked and bundled up. Like this:
Aren’t they great? I just got them in the mail (from Sew Fresh Fabrics) and stared at them for quite some time. Just stared and stared, thinking about what to do with them and whether I had enough to make a pretty quilt. After poking around on the internet for inspiration, I just decided to cut 3″ strips and group them into threes. Or maybe into fives. They’re just stacked up right now.
See how pretty? I’ll sew the strips together, cut them up. And then see.
And I’m already in a better mood. Yay!
